Before CoolSculpting procedure
Follow these guidelines before the CoolSculpting procedure, unless your doctor tells you otherwise:
- Provide clothing that you can throw away for treatment, but you will also need to arrive in soft, comfortable clothing to wear after CoolSculpting.
- Eat a light snack before your appointment and limit beverages and caffeine immediately before your appointment.
- You may enjoy watching TV or taking a nap during your CoolSculpting treatment.
- Movement is limited during treatment so it is not recommended that you bring activities that will occupy your time. We want you to sit and relax.
- Some patients read, work on their phones, listen to music, or fall asleep during their sessions.
During the procedure
After your consultation, your doctor will begin by asking you some relevant questions about your recent medical history to ensure there are no contraindications to treatment.
